Where we come from
Long before the Booolean name, our people were building software for organisations whose systems had to carry real rules: a treasury agency, a state education department, a health insurer, banks, a manufacturing plant, a telecommunications provider, e-commerce businesses. The work took us from Sri Lanka to Malaysia, to New Zealand and to Australia.
The common thread was never the industry. It was software where the rules were complicated, the stakes were public or financial, and "it works on my machine" was never good enough. That is still what we do, now from Sydney.

How we work
Senior-led. Every engagement is designed, reviewed and owned by an engineer who has shipped comparable systems into production. We are senior-led with local and offshore engineering capacity, and we scale the team to the work.
Fundamentals first, AI-accelerated. Our engineers use AI tooling heavily for scaffolding, tests and documentation. Design decisions, code review and accountability stay with people. We do not sell AI as a product, and we will tell you when a conventional approach is the better answer.
Plain-spoken. Working software every sprint, honest timelines, and no surprises when the invoice arrives.
Built to be maintained. Clean architecture, versioned database change, automated tests and documentation your own team can pick up. We build on a mainstream, well-supported platform so the people who inherit the system can hire for it.
Speaking and community
Our people have presented at industry technology events on delivery practice, Git adoption and software engineering, and have trained development teams in government and the private sector. We publish what we learn in Insights.
